Watercolor

Painting with watercolors is a different experience all together from using acrylics and oils. The ratio of pigment to water and how much of it I hold on my brush all affect how the paint dries. It being so heavily water based allows me to blend and layer the colors in different ways depending on how wet or dry the surface I’m working on is. My creative process with watercolors is a balance between having the knowledge of how to control the paint and letting the it flow to organically make it’s own marks on the paper.
