Let’s create your Color Comfort Zone.

My name is Maggie Ventura; I am passionate about helping people select the perfect paint colors for their homes.

Since 2017, I’ve consulted hundreds of clients to create custom color palettes for interior and exterior house painting projects. My mission is to help others feel confident in their paint color decisions by selecting colors inspired by their personal preferences that connect with the homes existing fixtures, lighting, and architecture.

Colors influence on how we feel and preferences are deeply personal. I’ve developed a process to identify my clients unique “Color Comfort Zone” to guide people to paint colors that help them feel their best in their homes. My goal is to make selecting paint colors an easy and fun experience for everyone, no matter their inspiration stage or understanding of color.

My process involves:

  • Utilizing color theory

  • Asking thoughtful questions

  • Active listening

  • Reading verbal and nonverbal cues

  • Understanding of house paint & colors trends

  • Observation and knowledge of lighting

I truly believe that my work has a positive impact on my clients daily lives; the right paint colors help people feel at home.

Color Consultation FAQ

  • Through hundreds of paint color consultations, I’ve created a process that makes selecting paint colors fun & easy for everyone! I’ve developed a variety of consultation approaches that allow me to meet my clients where they’re at - from the person who knows what they want and just needs an outside, expert opinion, to someone who is starting from square one and needs a consultant who can take the lead guiding them to their perfect paint colors.

My clients feel confident in my paint color recommendations because I ask the right questions and take the time to understand what is most important to them, while also giving my objective opinion on what coordinates best with the lighting and fixtures of the home. After just one or two hours, we create a custom color palette that helps people move from feeling overwhelmed with decision fatigue to excited to get to live in their new color scheme.

  • Colors influence how we feel and preferences are deeply personal.

Most people have experienced a room that feels too dark and heavy, no matter the time of day; or a glowing, bright white space that feels cold and sterile. Some of these color preferences tend to be more universally shared, while other preferences are unique to individuals which develop throughout life experiences. The overlap of what colors connect with the home and colors my clients naturally gravitate towards is what I describe as their Color Comfort Zone.

I help my clients identify their Color Comfort Zone by:

    • Asking thoughtful questions.

    • Reading verbal and non-verbal cues.

    • Referencing existing paint colors.

    • Observing what colors exist within their furniture, artwork, etc.

My mission as a paint color consultant is to identify what colors my clients gravitate towards and help them gain a deeper understanding of their own personal preferences so they can use color to improve how they feel at home.
