Hi! My name is Maggie Ventura; I’m passionate about helping others coordinate paint color palettes that create comfort and connection in their homes.

Since 2017, I’ve consulted hundreds of homeowners on interior and exterior house painting projects, identifying the best color options for my clients and their homes. My mission is to help others discover the paint colors that help them feel their best where they live.

I’ve developed a process for identifying my clients unique color comfort zone. I combine the use of color theory, house paint knowledge, asking the right questions, and reading verbal and nonverbal cues to guide others towards the best options to meet their color goals (even when they don’t know how to describe what those are!) I truly believe that my work has a positive impact on my clients daily lives; the right paint colors help people feel better by creating a sense of comfort and connection throughout their home.

Paint Color Consultations

  • Through hundreds of paint color consultations, I’ve learned how to make selecting paint colors fun & easy for everyone. My clients feel confident in our color selections because I take the time to understand what is most important to them while giving my objective opinions about what coordinates best with the fixtures in the home and why. After just 1-2 hours, we have a color palette that helps my clients go from feeling overwhelmed with decision fatigue to excited to get to live in their new color scheme.

  • Color influences our moods. Most people have had the experience of a room that’s dark and feels heavy, no matter what time of day it is, or walking into a glowing, bright white space that feels sterile. Some of these color preferences tend to be more universally shared.

    Picture the color of your childhood living room, or another place you spent a lot of time. Does that color make you feel comfortable and reminiscent of childhood or like you could never in a million years bring that same color into your home? This is one example I commonly see where colors can speak differently to every one of my clients based on past experiences.

    Look around a room in your house that you feel expresses your style. Notice if you can identify any common colors that repeat in different pieces of art, area rugs, or throw pillows. During a walkthrough, I’ll point out colors my client often uses and many times they tell me they’ve never noticed that before, they just buy things they like.

    We all have colors that we gravitate towards because of the emotions they strike in us; calm, relaxing, playful, sunny, energizing. My goal is to help you gain a deeper understanding of your own personal color preferences so you can use color to help you feel your best.

  • 1) Free Welcome Call

    • If it’s a good fit, we can schedule a time to meet in-person for a paint color consultation

    2) In home paint color consultation (Interior or Exterior)

    • 1 or 2 hour long in-person paint color consultation

    • Tour the spaces we agreed to work on as well as any surrounding areas that we need to consider when selecting colors

    • Discuss personal preferences and problem areas

    • Review paper samples in the spaces being painted

    • Determine the best paint colors for you and your home

    3) After the consultation you will receive:

    • Paper samples of each color

    • Clearly documented color notes

  • I work using Sherwin-Williams paint color samples. I bring the following color tools with me to use during in-home paint color consultations:

    • Fan-deck including all color swatches

    • 4×4 in. Paper samples of every color on the color wall

    • 8×11 in. Paper samples of every white

    • 8×11 in. Paper samples of the Designer Collection

    • 8×11 in. Paper samples of the Timeless & Historic Collection

    • 8×11 in. Paper samples of the closest fan deck matches to Vinyl Safe Colors
